NEWs'letter: Reporting live from s'Gravenhage (Dutch, for The Hague)

IV. Maintaining (partial) anonymity in a public space.

*Tap Tap Tap…Is this thing on?

Oh Hey there, Audra here. Wishing you well for this week.

YES! My posts will be shorter in the future, for now I’m populating with a purpose.

The podcast herewith serves as an important reminder to make the appropriate updates on your platforms. Please have a watch before reading further. Here is a link for international protocols, per country, that serves as a helpful resource.

I’ve learned the hard way (ofc!), having spent this recent period micro-managing my content. With the increase of AI usage, it grows more important to remove/not post sensitive content of our children, (and ourselves), online.

Why is she leading with such negative content?

Hey, that’s a great question I touch on below. Meantime….

Happy FriYay!

Here are some events important to share. Perhaps I’ll see you around?

FriYaY "Weekly” Newsletter

I’ve gathered some feedback from the valuable people in my network over my writing tone, and scope of communications. Finding that Friday makes a great day for a weekly newsletter. Helpful I’m usually in a good mood, and less cynical.

My newsletters will have scheduled breaks, but happy to offer a consistent day where Readers have time to process, or absorb, shared content over ‘het weekendje’. I do share a lot! Yes, that’s the point in practicing my writing skills. Please take what works. Leave the rest.

Also…

You will find me across the socials, being otherwise annoyingly attention seeking in a LOUD & SHOUTY manner, as I’ve been these last 3 years.

That was when I realised the advantage of using social media to hit writing prompt milestones assigned from my mentors and coaches. I’d like to thank the loyal followers still around, possibly still waiting for my book to drop - or mission statement to be complete…

you know who you are!

My goals behind a increased social media presence have been purely selfish these last years. It was an immensely helpful practice period, affording me the time investment during a career change and sabbatical.

However, with AI allowing us more creative options for our future, this amazing technology, available to everyone on the planet, will sadly also work to threaten others. We already know this of course.

Wherever my kids are online, I will remain active. Though, let’s set the record straight - I’m there to dismantle, or at least support reformation of mainstream applications that offend.

I feel data/privacy/security rights are not enough to protect our our mental health, or that of future generations. Plus I feel social media is a threat to national security (insert your favorite nationality). So, while my posts may look from an outsider perspective that I enjoy sharing how interesting my life could possibly be, in reality I’m there to gather allies in solid R&D efforts.

Popular mainstream social media apps have become a petri dish for culture wars that grow into real wars, I have discovered. Excited to share my stories soon! Keep comin’ back for such atypically curated conspiracy theories. And YES! Using social media to do this - now, in a controlled capacity.

This Office Tarot archetype card deck got me through burnout!

Cool, what’s your plan?

Currently, I am using

as a goal to replace most other forms of mainstream social media. Here we reading about how others are benefitting from this too. It’s proving to be an interactive platform where mingling with other cool authors, writers, content creators, artists, journalists and laypersons are found reading the work of the aforementioned.

Which is why I’m inviting readers to join Substack TODAY and SUBSCRIBE to my blog, where I am working to monetise my publications. In the case this wasn’t clear before.

You click here!

They are not even promoting me to plug, jeeezzz how kind am I?!

Yes that’s correct Dearest Readers, allllll the hot juicy gossip, or wisdom, and distorted conspiracy theories I like to dissect, can be yours for the low, low price of…

But wait, there’s more…

As many of you receiving this newsletter also know me personally, you’ll be able to continue to watch the progress of publishing my live, interactive online memoir. Happy to have finally found the right moment to tackle that book I’ve been encouraged to publish.

“That’s right”, I say in my-soon-to-be tiny-microphone that I need in hopes and dreams of better audio for my content. Your subscription to support my writings also supports me working towards long-term writing career goals!

I’m thanking you in advance for your purchase of what a nice coffee table book would cost you. Feel free to learn more here about what your subscription includes. It’s not a perfect overview, but I’m getting there.

Cool, even a GROUP subscription is available!

Oh Look!

  • You can even purchase group subscriptions with others. Not sure what gift to buy for that special person in your life who already has everything? Pretty sure a GIFT SUBSCRIPTION to my Substack would enlighten they/them/him/her.

  • Substack even offers a price for Founding Members, but as this suggested price is higher than any other pricing schemes they offer, I haven’t quite figured out how my “undying love” warrants hard-earned money from my most loyal Subscribers. Though hey, I do have my admirers! Usually they are grandmothers over age 75, but I do love having a crisp folded $5 note slid into my hand at the end of our dates.

Not interesting in following my work?

That’s okay, I also now proudly accept donations & gifts! This is new for me as usually I don’t like to accept such offerings. But my home is old and a new life as a single mom has its setbacks. Girls place their wishes as well, making international gift-giving moments easier on our family.

This app is also where I book dates with various genders, friends, and others I potentially work/fraternise socially with.

As I close a chapter on yet another life transition, I’m happy to maintain contacts that have helped me on a path of evolution. Maintaining privacy and anonymity will remain a value I try hard to live by.

Though I’m quite open with sharing my backstory, if you should find yourself in my writings, know it’s in good intentions. And most likely, I’ll need you to do the edits, so you’ll be the first to learn about it :)

Thankful for the various mentors covering the diverse entrepreneurial efforts I’m working towards. My long-term goals of building a communal ashram become closer in reality.

Namaste xx
